Exceptional buying experience! Kudos Kia of Fort Wayne...I wanted a specific car, color and tech, sales associate AP said they had one coming Dec 1. I thought, "yeah right"...3 weeks later, got a call from AP (on Dec 1st!) saying the car was in if I wanted to come take a look. Since when does customer service happen when they said it will? Nice work Kia! AP, Brady and Ryan Hamilton were great to work with and bought exactly what I wanted, nothing more and nothing less! Easy experience and I felt I could walk away at anytime. Outstanding experience with Ray Skillman Shadeland Kia purchasing a 2021 Kia Telluride SX V6 AWD Prestige and Nightfall Edition Packages. We visited Ray Skillman after looking for this SUV at other Kia dealers unsuccessfully! We were told at two different dealers that such car had a huge demand that it was going to be practically impossible to get one, or if getting one it was going to be ~10K USD at least over sticker price!!!! Well, we decided to go a bit further (we live in Carmel) and stopped at Ray Skillman - Shadeland. There we met Bob Silvey and Shawn Salinas (Sales manager). They did confirm the high demand for this SUV, but started working with us in finding options to order a new one, giving us good options to get it and at an expected price. We were able to customize our Telluride the way we wanted it (interior and exterior colors, packages, accessories, etc.) with the help of Bob and Shawn, agreed on a price for it, and conditions, and they ordered it to Kia. Our Telluride was ordered, and after a couple of months it arrived just as we wanted it. Yesterday I went to the dealer, closed the deal, and came home driving our beautiful Gravity Gray, Dune Brown leather seats, SX Prestige Package and Nightfall Edition package Telluride. Negotiation was simple and easy, conditions were the expected ones, so overall it was a great experience getting this car. I can say that after dealing in Indiana with Mazda, Ford, Volkswagen, Audi and Lexus dealers, this has been by far the best and most positive experience. Kuddos to Shawn and Bob for their customer oriented service, something you don't always see easily in this type of business, and kudos to Kia for bringing to the market a very nice SUV at a pretty convenient price. Thanks to Bob and Shawn, great work with our car shopping experience. If you are looking for a KIA, don't hesitate and drive to Ray Skillman at Shadeland Ave. for a positive experience!

Bought 2022 Kia K5 GT Line AWD in November 2021, already - Po

Bought 2022 Kia K5 GT Line AWD in November 2021, already once in shop with almost no oil left in it, at 5k miles recommended change is higher on the new cars this was found by a local place, and then I took to dealership to find out what was going on, cracked oil casing. Now 12k miles odd noise coming from under car does it when making turns in reverse and sometimes forward, this happened on the way to Florida and on the way back a clanging noise started. got home husband looked under car a hose is hanging down took to dealership the day I got home, they said they couldn't tell if it was serious unless they got it on a lift, but did say the hose was "just" the ac drain hose, but not to worry they were sure it was fine. that was on June 27th soonest they could get me in was July 28th. I have called and left messages for Store manager and General manager at the Ford building NO ONE calls me back. Now they are all conveniently on vacation. I am driving a brand new car that could have something not so serious or something that could effect my steering, wont know until they can get it up on a lift. NEVER again! I love the car but so far even if this turns out to be nothing major the service is awful. I'm not sure that they understand when you are trying to get back from Florida on an interstate constantly worried that your steering may go at anytime, no one was with me and it was awful. I drove a car that had less than 11k at the time to Florida and didn't know if I would make it back home with the car, and then they tell me I have to wait for more than a month to even get it looked at??? It is my daily driver and it was a large purchase for me...Angry doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about them right now.

i took my 2002 kia sportage in because it was running funny and smelled of gas and my gas milege was suddenly terrible. they had it for a week and swore up and down there was nothing wrong with it. i convinced them to do a simple tune up. they had to order parts and the day they had the parts they called claiming all types of things were wrong and when i said no they found other parts that were broken and suddenly couldnt believe i drove it in. this was after there 80 dollar an hour diagnosis. and when i said i was takeing it somewhere else they claimed it wouldnt run under its own power. i took it somewhere good and got it fixed for 600 dollars cheaper than what they were claiming. im not even going to look at that place when i drive by anymore. terrible buisness ethics
