If I had the option to give zero stars, I would. I am truly disappointed with the service department @ Lexus of Freeport (formerly Lexus of Rockville Center). I purchased two Lexus vehicles from the old location and my recent experience with the service department, I will never do business with this dealership. The only reason I decided to go back to this dealership for service because I received a $75 gift card in the mail. Prior to my recent experience with this rip-off dealership, I was going to Rallye Lexus in Glen Cove even though I purchased the car brand new from the folks at Lexus of Freeport. Rallye's service experience is fantastic by the way and I highly recommend. In any event, I went to Lexus of Freeport yesterday for what I thought was a simple synthetic oil change and the $289 fall coolant special advertised on their web site which includes labor. My 2016 IS300 F Sport only has 24k on the clock and still looks as clean as the day I purchased it back in 2016. Within a few hours after dropping off the car, I received an email from Service Advisor Shane that my car went through a 24 point service inspection and which revealed service recommendations that I can review and or approve. The recommendations were: Bg HVAC service, basically spraying a foam cleaner to clean the ac condenser and not a freon recharge, $249.00 ($149.00 @ comparable Lexus dealerships). Battery replacement $345.45 ($229 including labor @ comparable dealerships). I opted to approve the battery change and the dealer bait HVAC service. Within a few minutes after approving, I called and text Shane to ask if the dealership can price match Lexus of Queens, Lexus of Manhattan, and Lexus of Brooklyn that are all charging the same low price? I was met with "I don't make up the prices". What ever happened to customer service? Why can't these scammers price match? I decided to bite the bullet and pay for the services to my dismay. When I presented the $75 gift card to the cashier, she called Shane over who indicated that he applied a 10 percent discount already and that the $75 gift card cannot be honored. My total bill was a rip-off $940.00!! I will neither buy nor service a Lexus with these crooks again! Avoid the service Department!
