Tim Bae helped us today and we were beyond impressed. The customer service blew us away and reminded us as to why we need to shop at nicer dealerships. I use to buy higher end SUV’s, but my daughter got into rodeo and we started buying F-450’s and F-350’s. My soccer mom car days were over for a good seven years. I had to get my daughter a second car for college so she can drive to class as her dually won’t fit in normal parking spots at the college. I shopped at some dealerships prior to visiting them. I can not believe the shady behavior of all of these dealerships! I bought her an X5 at a different dealership two days prior to visiting Sewell. The dealership snuck in a $2500 fee for unexplainable reasons (basically a Covid padding) and so many other crazy behaviors took place. I signed the contract and then was told to pick the car up the next day. Long story short, they called me two days later to tell me I needed to come pick my money back up because they were unable to deliver on the car they sold me. It was a car with too many issues (it only had 60k miles on it) and it needed a $5,600 repair which they refused to pay for

I spent the rest of the day shopping at other dealers only to feel completely disgusted by the pushy, rude, and desperate behavior from the salesmen.
It was 7:30 pm and I coaxed my family to drop by Sewell as our last stop. It was so refreshing! They are probably the last honest dealership out there! No hidden fees, no pressure and complete transparency. They also have very high standards on the pre-owned cars they carry. I ended up buying an SUV from them.
I will continue to buy more vehicles from them in the future too. Their ethics were not compromised by the Covid padding that other dealerships are tacking on.
