We ordered a 2022 Ford Maverick in October 2021, our salesperson left, so I communicated with Michelle Doll over the last year. Our Maverick was delayed again and again, finally to the point where it would not have been built as a 2022, this isn't Andy Mohr's fault, it's Ford's and even there they can't hardly help that they created such a popular truck that they can't build them fast enough.
I came in to the dealership expecting to talk with Michelle about just getting our deposit back and finding a different vehicle. While talking with her we realized they had a Maverick sitting in the showroom (customer canceled order) that was **exactly** what we had ordered. Michelle and I talked through it and I asked if we could buy that one (which they had marked up to over $50k due to the popularity/scarcity of the Maverick) and they keep our order when it finally comes in. Michelle went and talked with the GM, he told her "make the customer happy" and they agreed to sell it to us at MSRP and I was even able to use my X-Plan discount! We did a handshake deal there and agreed we would pick it up the next day.
Michelle had salesman Steve Kluesener call me the next day and we got everything figured out over the phone and text. Steve is very personable, professional, honest and knowledgeable about Ford vehicles, I enjoyed talking with him and working with him. I'm a Ford fan and investor, so I could tell how knowledgeable he is, and I appreciated that. He's a real asset to Andy Mohr Ford.
Even Chris "Dragon" the Finance Manager was very professional and good to deal with.
I thanked Michelle again for taking care of us and she thanked me for our business. Andy Mohr has certainly won my future business by the way they handled this.
