Looking to buy a Mazda. Met with a salesperson who said he was not knowledgeable about Mazda because he mostly sold Hyundai. Short test drive and salesperson could not answer basic questions. Told me the price of the car and said no negotiations. No salesmanship, who trained this guy.
I was completely turned off by the attitude and incompetency of the salesperson. There were at least 8 other salespeople standing around watching us, doing nothing. The dealership was empty on a Saturday morning. Are they going to stay in business? I went with my gut and walked away.
I looked today at the Epperson Mazda website. The salesperson I dealt with is no longer there. I wonder what their turnover rate is at this dealership? I like to deal with professional organizations. BTW, their lobby was filthy.
Response to owner. You have no idea of the facts. I did not grab a salesman. He told me he sold both Hyundai's and Mazda's but was most familiar with Hyundai's. He represented himself as a person who was my assigned salesperson.
The salesperson I mentioned was listed on your website. The salesperson is no longer listed on your website. You do not know the salesperson I interacted. You are making false assumptions.
I actually wrote to your Mazda Sales manager a much more detailed account of my experience. I never received a reply.
You seem very defensive in your reply without know any specific facts. How do you know the salesperson was new. How was I to know he was new. Is it my job as a potential customer to do due diligence on your salespeople. I did not choose the sales person. I think I was in his rotation.
Your reply is very offensive. Your sales managers reply was not-existent. Because of your reply, I will now take the time to escalate the matter to Mazda USA and other social media with much more detail and facts to follow. I have names and dates and copies of my correspondence to your Sales Manager.
Your response seem desperate. I am a retired business professional who knows the proper channels to make others aware of your attitude and response.
Always get your facts right before emotionally responding and personally attacking someone.
