I have never written a review before but my experience at Hunt Ford has changed that. If a ZERO rating were possible that would be how I would have rated my experience of trying to buy a car from this dealership today. After making an appointment and driving almost an hour to the dealership to test drive a 2021 Ford Explorer ST and telling the sales person and his sales manager that my intent was to finance the vehicle through my bank with a $25,000 downpayment there was no problem at that time. I inquired about the $1000 discount Ford was offering but was told it only applies if financed through Ford. I still decided to pay full sticker price for the vehicle. There was a problem with a small scratch on the rear bumper and was told that it would be fixed or replaced. So no problem so far. There was also a problem with my new iPhone 12 not working with the vehicles wireless charger but still not a deal breaker. I told the sales person and sales manager I would like to check out one other dealership and hopefully I would return to purchase the Explorer ST. After I left the dealership I decided to look no further and called to let them no my intention to buy from them. I asked for a purchase offer for my bank and was willing to give them a credit card payment as a good faith deposit and return in the morning to pick up the vehicle. So far so good. Then I got a call back from the sales person and he told me the dealerships owner said they would only sell me the vehicle if I financed through them. Bottom line they were very unprofessional. DO NOT waist your time with this dealership if you expect to be valued as a customer, treated with respect and honesty and you intend to finance through your bank.
