Went to the professionals to service my 18y truck, paid what they asked for no problem. They failed to recommend or suggest to replace a crankshaft bolt that was the original, the bolt was worn out but they just put it back because their manual does not say anything about replacing it. The bolt luckily broke when I was parked, started the truck to take it to the same dealership to do spark plugs, wires and some gaskets. This work was done within a year with only close to 4K miles, this is not my daily driver . They said the warranty will take care of it but they checked the work and saw the old bolt that they did not replaced, warranty was voided. There is an upgrade version on the market. On the other hand they sold me on replacing my water pump original also but no leaks at all. It is very upsetting and such a headache dealing with dealerships like this. Where is the professionalism and common sense?
