WOW!!!!!!!! What crummy customer service!!!!!!!!!!! My wife and I just came in to ask for a test drive of an outback. We were completely honest about our reasons (that we were moving to the mainland and were going to purchase a vehicle there, but wanted my wife to be comfortable with the feel of the car). The old geezer sales manager wouldn't answer our questions and condescendingly told us "his people" worked on commission and if we were not buying, we were just wasting their time. We told him we understood that (we had actually brought a Starbucks gift card to give to the guy to thank hi for his time, as we knew he wasn't "making anything" on us), and were willing to wait until they were not busy with a potential sale. He told us that we were still wasting their time and out to be more considerate and leave. Great job!!!!! It is a good thing you have a monopoly or you'd be out of business. I wrote a glowing review about the exemplary service I received from Big Island motors. Tim, Maia, and everyone else who helped me were very friendly and professional. I did a lot of research in several avenues led to Big Island motors. I started there and then looked around to see if I could find anything comparable. I ended up buying a new car for the first time in my life. I recommend Big Island motors for its wide variety of selections, the ability of staff to help make that selection, and the support staff who arrange for everything else.
