Took car in for an extended warranty repair. - Ray69Cooper
Took car in for an extended warranty repair....warranty purchased through a Subaru dealer in Arizona. Invoice came with a total owing and I disagreed! Baxter said that since it was not purchased through a Baxter store implied the warranty was basically no good and all work was not completely covered! My extended warranty was a comprehensive plan with no deductible, and if it was a covered part (they were) they were completely covered. Then they said that this was an insurance company they rarely, if ever, dealt with. I told them that I had used this warranty before at this dealership with one of the repair issues exactly the same with absolutely no problems with the warranty. Finally the store manager came out and we discussed the issue. Finally, he did do the right/correct thing and told me that they would absorb the cost. I then left the dealership with sort of a sour taste in my mouth. The right outcome, but only after a hassle over what should not have been an issue.
