Let me begin by saying I have always received excellent customer service with this dealership.
After a fashion Christina introduced herself by test after I had been pleasantly greeted and directed to the waiting room by another person when I pulled into the garage.
By text Christina stated to text anytime during my service. I asked for assistance with logging into the online service since I had a difficult time scheduling my appointment, and I let her know I was in the waiting room. After a couple more texts she came to the waiting room. It was a very tense exchange. Certainly not what I am accustomed to with the dealership. She never sat down but rather stood over me, which allowed everyone sitting around me to overhear the exchange. Not helpful at all. The next time I heard from her was again by text at 1014 letting me know there were additional services found during the inspection. A link took me to the list. The list was ten items long with a total price of $1331.07. Quit a sticker shock when I expect an oil change, fluid top off, and new wiper blades. Yes, I needed a few minutes to review my options. As I was verifying and accepting the “Needs Immediate attention” items. Christina showed up in the waiting room. Again, standing over me, no greeting, confrontational body language, again loudly addressing me.
At 1317 after not hearing anything. I texted her “Can I get an update”. She acknowledged by test and came to the waiting room stating the technician needed 30 more minutes.
She then came back and told me the car was all set. I followed her to her desk. She handed me a Bill for over $1500.00.
When I questioned this total by remarking that I had approved $1331.07 she took the time to review the bill and somehow brought it down to 1409.25 still not the $1331.07.
I would recommend Christina learn some customer service skills from her peers who I saw that day interacting with their clients. She was the exception to what I have experienced in the past since I bought my Subaru in 2017 from this dealership.
I don't want the entire team to suffer for my experience with one person so I will rate the Service department 5 Stars and certainly will recommend this dealership.
