Sales department isn’t bad ! The maintenance department on the other hand is absolutely horrible at Buckhannon Toyota. We purchased a brand new Toyota hybrid highlander in February, it’s been serviced by them 3 times since we purchased it. Yesterday while getting an oil change done by their technicians, they came out and told my wife that the wiring harness for the batteries was damaged . Due to her hitting something and the lid being broke off. And it would cost us 3000$ to fix . It would not be covered under any warranty and it may be covered under our insurance possibly “ since she had to of hit something “ . With that being said they told her her car was unsafe to drive and would catch fire . All in front of our young kids . At which point she called me on the phone and informed me of all this plus they’d told her also that with it being a hybrid rlthat they’re not to be drove on gravel or dirt roads . We live 2 miles up a gravel road . I told her to leave the dealership and we’d have it looked at at Dan cavas Toyota in fairmont . Which we did this morning first thing . Come to find out good old buckhannon Toyota was totally wrong . The haven’t put the lid on the wiring harness box for 2 years now and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the harness. We called them to try and see if they could explain why they wanted 3000$ dollars yesterday to fix the “ problem “ and now they’re saying that’s not what they said . I wouldn’t take a wheel borrow to them to fix. To top it off this is the second time in 20 years I’ve had a very bad experience with the maintenance department there . The first time the manager of the department told me there was nothing wrong with my truck and the frame was broke clear into. If all Toyota garages on the eastern half of the us closed except buckhannon Toyota , I guess I’d drive to California to get one

5 stars rating. Customer service and sales were superior. Very transparent and efficient process. The salesperson, Jeff Shaffer located the new 4 Runner I was looking for and kept me updated every step of the way via text. The car was ready and waiting when I arrived to pick it up. Ball Toyota did not charge additional fees above MSRP like most dealers are doing currently. Knowing that I can just text Jeff what I am looking for without all of the hassle, I will certainly buy our next car from Ball Toyota.

When we were hit by a moving truck in Colorado in June and our new Highlander Hybrid was totaled, our local dealerships basically told us to leave a deposit and "wait in line" for 6-12 months. I searched dealerships across the country and couldn't get any help until CMA owner Liza Myers Borches stepped in, connected me with Jason Wolfe and David Boone who went so far above and beyond to find me a replacement vehicle that it left me in shock and awe. Up to this point, I'd had either fine or poor experiences with dealerships but this one is truly something extraordinary. I have never felt more cared about when buying a car (especially under such traumatizing circumstances) and when Jason said he was going to give it his all, I knew I was connected with a human being with a big heart, not just a salesperson. I can never say enough positive things about this dealership and even though I live 1600 miles away, you better believe I'm going to recommend them to everyone and reach out to them first for my future Toyotas - they are THAT AMAZING!

Recently leased a toyota Highlander and from top to bottom jim robinson toyota went above and beyond for myself and family needs. Darnell and Vinny were so thoughtful of what we wanted in an SUV and monthly payments and just made it all work. We were never hasseled to buy, and tpok time to explain all features and toyota service care. Heck even bought my kid a candy bar while we waited to sign papers.

My spouse introduced me to this Toyota dealership over 35 years ago when it was under the old ownership. We have bought 4 Toyotas (all new) since then. Have had the best service and warranty work ever. The great thing about this dealer is that if they mess up, they pay. Years ago I had taken my Corolla in for regular maintenance. I never noticed that my inspection sticker had died. I got a ticket. On my trip to get the inspection done, they looked up when I had my last maintenance done. It was right at the time my inspection was due to run out. They deducted the cost of my ticket from my maintenance and inspection bill!! The sales staff is great. They always talk to us and make us feel at home. Even my dogs have been welcome there. Hairy, Max and now Miss Red are always greeted and petted. I have never had to have anything done to my Toyotas other than routine maintenance, warrenty work and normal wear & tear work. Love this dealership and my Toyotas!!

I’ve tried this dealership twice. The first time I, a woman, went by myself. They wanted to give me 10k less for my car than any other dealerships and claimed it was because they ask MSRP. No. They tried pushing and saying well I can’t hold the car for you. Yes, I understand and I will not be purchasing when you didn’t even offer a test drive. The “appraisal” of my car took approximately 2 minutes. While waiting for them to come back to me with numbers a group of several salesman were talking in the lobby rudely about customers, calling them “crackheads” among other things. Definitely not talk to have in front of a potential customer. Several months later I went with my husband, who they only addressed when talking. He’s not the one buying the car and quite frankly I know more about the purchase than he does. The car we wanted wasn’t available, but they didn’t ask if we were open to anything else or offer to appraise my car. I would’ve been open to looking at other vehicles, but their aggressive attitude turned myself and my husband off, so we left. Never will visit their lot again, which I’m sure they don’t care.

Very good at not telling the truth - Cil

Car had been wrecked, not reported on Carfax. They knew it was in an accident,made repairs badly. Would not admit to it. Ask to just return my car back. Lied again said it went to wholesaler. Not true. Found on their other lot in Williamson,Wv. Don't deal with these guys.
