Exceptional experience buying an $8000 used car from the Audi-VW dealership in Marin, CA. They rolled out the carpet for me as if I was buying a $70,000 SUV. The car itself was in great condition and the way they prep'd it, it looked new, they filled it with gas, cleaned it inside and out after I test drove it, it looked great then, two days later when I picked it up it was stellar. Very informative, wanted feedback after the sale and nothing to hide, I dealt with Paul J. and another Paul and Josh in the office, all good, no issues whatsoever.

Buddy was an absolute delight to work with. When inventory was tight, he educated me on other vehicles -- one of which I ended up purchasing -- and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. He went above and beyond throughout the process -- and even ensured I had a snack after a long day of going from dealership to dealership lol. Buddy, Nick and the entire team were so helpful and not at all pushy like so many of the other sales people I've dealt with at other dealerships. They really care about their customers and don't try to take advantage with insane markups. They earned my business by treating me like an old friend. John took care of the paperwork side and somehow made that fun too. All the people I dealt with had been there for years and it really shows -- they actually look like they enjoy their jobs and each other. Will be recommending this dealership to all my friends.

I have bought numerous cars, both domestic and foreign, over the past fifty plus years. Not once have I had a pleasant experience with buying or servicing a car, until I went to Volkswagen of Palm Springs! Both their Sales and Service Department are excellent. I was at work one night and was unable to shut my car off, the key would not turn. Several men from work tried to help but were unsuccessful. Auto Club could not help either. Then I called Volkswagen of Palm Springs, Service was closed, but Sales was open. I was very fortunate that Pablo in Sales happened to answer my call. Pablo suggested I go to Auto Zone and they would help. Pablo also asked for my phone number and said he would call me when he got off work, and if Auto Zone could not help me, he would swing by after work and assist me. Both the employees and customers at Auto Zone tried their best to turn the key off, but alas, they were unable to do so. True to his word, Pablo called me after work and he was confident that he would be able to turn my car off. Sure enough, he showed up ten minutes later and was able to turn off my car. He turned it back on and told me what to do if I was unable to shut off the car. The next day I went to Volkswagen service department and Allen, the Service Manager, told me the service was under warranty and gave me a very nice loaner car to drive. Also, I tried to give Pablo some money as a small token of my gratitude and appreciation. He refused to take my money even though I pleaded for him to take it! He told me if I wanted to give someone the money to give it to a female employee who worked really hard and deserved the money more than he did. I passed it on as Pablo requested. Wow, I thought my deceased boyfriend was the last good man on earth. I was wrong, there is Pablo and Allen! If you are in the Palm Springs area and need to buy or service a Volkswagen, please do not hesitate to go Volkswagen of Palm Springs and ask for Pablo in Sales or Allen in Service. I’m sure you will be very happy with their sales and service.

Jackie and Jacob were great to work with. We just bought an ID4 (a cancellation by the original reservation) and Jacob was so sweet (without it feeling fake :-)) to our entire family, before/during and even after the sale. My husband had a lot of hard questions and he handled them like a pro. Our daughter is three and hard to entertain and finance brought her crayons and a coloring book to give us more time to get through the process (very thoughtful). I suppose there is competition for the ID4s that come in and while a competing agent made us feel awkward to be there Jacob handled him with grace and made us feel wanted despite to awkward comments made to him by the agent. We can’t thank him enough for his hard work, and general nature.

I've been going here for nearly 10 years and the service has gone down the tubes. In short, I had to return 4 times to get a window leak fixed. I was provided no concession and was even incorrectly charged for the service. I had to follow-up 4 times over 2 weeks before someone called me back to address it (when I was told they would get back to me the next day). Just really poor service, expectations, etc. I will never use them again

I recently had a back tire blowout on the 605, as I was passing the dealership. Lucky for me, I was able to get to the dealership and Tyler had his guys put the spare on for me, with no charge. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes! I purchased my car here and have been getting my car serviced here for the past 5 years. Tyler and Aisleen (service reps) have always been extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable about my car. They have also spent extra time working with the warranty company to make sure everything is getting covered appropriately. I know my car is in good hands when I bring it here. I can't say enough good things about this location!

We selected a car to purchase, they would not provide a contract for our Credit Union, only wanted us to use their financing or bring cash. Made it tough on us. The discussion became so difficult, purchasing a vehicle there was a waste of time. They were very polite but apparently they have their rules on which they would not budge. Our financing was 4.03% for 7 years (we have excellent credit). Their financing was higher and not acceptable to us.
