When I first met Ed Cappola and Patrick, they both understood that I was just beginning my used car search and didn’t pressure me to buy that day. I moved on to look at a few more Tiguans at other dealerships and Greg politely followed up the next day. After evaluating all the cars I had looked at, I realized the best value was at Mastria. In addition to the car being the best value, Ed, Greg, Patrick and Mark really made the buying experience easy and stress free. Do not take your vehicle to get service at this location! My son, a young man attending college in the area and just trying to make in life took our 2019 VW to get his brakes checked. He was told they will only look at the brakes for a non-refundable inspection fee of $189.00. The service center took advantage of this young man. I called a near by competitor (Lia VW) and they only charge $75.00, I understand a business must make money but Fathers and Sons Volkswagen took advantage of our son. As a currently serving Army officer, I know how important it is to take care of people BUT Fathers and Sons VW did not take care of their customers and took advantage of my son. If they did it to me, they will do it to you. DO NOT GO TO Fathers and Sons VW.

Had the pleasure of having Mike Testa help me but my first car, I ended up falling in love with the 2023 VW Tiguan and he made the whole process so easy for me and got my brand new car to me within 2 days of the first time I saw it. Quirk response: HI Susan, we can understand your frustration in this situation. The person who you spoke to at the time may have been referring to general cleanliness and light vacuuming. If the interior needed a deep cleaning we may have to charge extra to get it suitable for the next owner. Also there may have been other light damages to the vehicle (interior or exterior) that were not obvious when returned. They must also be fixed before the next person can drive it. We hope you can understand our reasoning. Thank you. My response: The car was checked by the service department when I went to inquire about the end of my lease. I was sitting with the salesperson and the person from the service department. It was discussed. Like I said, they will lie to make a sale. I also have called the dealership 3 times about this. The response you read was the first response I’ve gotten.

I walked into Atamian VW with a True Car price quite that Cee, our salesperson, immediately said that he would honor. We test drove a Passat TDI and decided that yes, we liked the car, so we closed the deal. The sales manager tried to sell me an extended warranty, but I simply stated that I could handle the cost of any future repairs. Easy enough. I've since had the car service a few times at Atamian. No problems.

I have been going to Kelly VW since they purchased North Shore VW (where I went for years)and many of the same people work at the Kelly dealership. They are ALWAYS pleasant and helpful and personable. They provide GREAT service for anything from a small tiny adjustment to a major repair. It is not a "typical" car dealership mentality when buying or leasing. There is no pressure to buy or push their agenda....the customer comes first. I would highly recommend them!
