Intended to purchase my second Subaru from this dealer. That was until it was revealed to me that the pricing online including "The Internet Price Today" was BS. We drove the car and told Mike to write it up. Write it up he did! Came back to the desk and added $4200 to MSRP Claiming it was a hard to get model and they were justified in doing that. Not much discussion after that. A manager came in to try to convince me ,I said no and left. Got the feeling Mgr thought Mike gave us the inflated figures the day before and we were aware before test drive. Had he I'd never have wasted my time. We bought the same car the same day at MSRP with no BS from Stiver Subaru in Decatur. The whole process couldn't have been more pleasurable. AVOID Subaru of Macon!!!!!!! There are much better choices.

Have to say when you go to a dealership it’s not like it’s a favorite place to visit. However, visiting the Volvo store was by far the best experience I have ever had in a dealership. The staff was excellent and provided me everything I needed. I didn’t have to fight to go any information at all. And let’s be honest it’s a Volvo. The new XC60 was the best suv I have test drive so far. And with the gas mileage I think this is what I’m hoing to buy. Thanks Joe and the Volvo team for such a good experience.

Deceived by the dealer purchasing a used car - DeWayne

I purchased a used car from Volvo Cars Savannah. The car was modified with a roll bar and all pictures on the web masterfully left out the roll bars appearance, additionally the lengthy description on their web site never mentioned the car was modified. Even after a number of phone calls with the salesman about my concern for originality, proper documentation, service records and insuring all the original parts the car came with were still with the car, I was never told the car had been modified. I can clearly say that had I known there had been a roll bar installed I would have never pursued the car or any car that I felt had been tracked or raced. I had the car shipped to WI and discovered the modification when it came off the truck. Since the delivery I have had multiple e-mails and phone conversations with the dealership. Having purchased the car and having it delivered I had the roll bar removed ($2,100) and at a minimum I wanted reimbursement for the removal of the never mentioned modification. I initially went through the salesman, he had no success with the management. I attempted to contact the owner Ralph Tolman, got his son in law Michael McIntyre and he essentially said not our problem. This to me is the example of deceptive practices and possibly fraud, also a shameful practice and a total disregard for the customer. The only sign of any concern came from the salesman himself (David Sigg) which offered me $1,000.00 from his own pocket.

I would not recommend doing business with Volvo Cars Athens or Smith Automotive Group. I originally purchased a vehicle in 2020 from VCA and Middleton Automotive. That purchase included an agreement to pick up and provide a loaner plus car washes and details for the lifetime of the car. Smith automotive group is not honoring this contract and refuses to help or refund. I will never consider doing business with this dealership in the future. Some of the people within the dealership who were unable to resolve this issue include: Diana Perez in Service and Jimmy Branton, general manager. Beware.
