Hello! - Kaleal1wilson
Hello! And good evening! I am an owner of one of a Mercedes C-Class and I am getting service at the Mercedes Benz of Little Rock location. I made an appointment for this past Monday November 7th at 2:30pm. I used the Mercedes roadside company to get my car towed in from my home. I was given their information by the receptionist. I made my phone call for the roadside pickup at approximately 1:00pm the day of my appointment! It took them a while to get to my homes location, however they eventually towed my car an hour or so later after my appointment time, so maybe 3:30pm-4pm ish. Once dropped off the roadside company did call me and let me know that it was at the Mercedes Benz dealership located in Little Rock. So I called the dealership for confirmation. With my call being transferred to different departments, I finally got to talk to a lady and she told me that “everything was confirmed and that they have my key to my car.” After that I just waited until the next day for a call to let me know if they shall proceed with any services they have to do. But nobody called, so I called the dealership myself and asked how was my car being tended to and basically the response from this dealership was that they had a lot of cars backed up with service and have only 1 service person working on cars at the moment but will get to mine. So unfortunately, I just took that news and just dealt with it. BUT I only feel as if, being carless, nothing has been accommodated or no one has showed any slight of sympathy besides saying they will work on my car (I called numerous of times on numerous occasions about my car started being worked on btw) or get to my car as soon as possible. I could have kept my car where it was at until there was an actual appointment date where my car would be atleast diagnosed so I can know what needs to be done on my behalf if I have to pay out of pocket for anything! Fast forward to Friday November 11th at approximately 1:00pm that day, I get a call from someone in service I’m guessing at the Mercedes Benz of Little Rock location stating “they couldn’t find my car” they also asked for a description and stated they would call me back whether they had found it or not. I even asked if they could CALL ME BACK asap so I can know if my car was there or not. I didn’t receive a call, I was at work from 9am until 4pm that day and I traveled to the dealership as soon as I got off because no one was answering the phone to the dealership. I called repeatedly atleast 8-10 times. Stated on their hours, their sales department closed the earliest at 6PM so I was confused on any communication that wasn’t being made that day. However I made it to the dealership and they still were telling me that they couldn’t FIND MY CAR. I became worried and confused. I even called the roadside man that came and got my car, he never answered or called back. (Too much miscommunication at this Little Rock location and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to ever deal with it.) I sat at the dealership for maybe 40 minutes before they found someone in service to assist me. They kept saying they couldn’t find my car, and a nice gentleman (2 actually) greeted me and questioned me about my car and just decided if they gave me a jacket to wear could they take me on the cart to ride around and find my car. I agreed, however it only took barely a minute to spot my car. Literally probably 200 feet from the service door. I’m not sure what games are being played if there are any being played but the hospitality, COMMUNICATION, and service here is a -1 out of 10. I expected better since I’m coming from having a car at Steve Landers where service & everything was basically done pronto to coming to a “luxury” dealership, thinking service will be even better, with no one even wanting to even answer the phone. A Little goes a long way. My car has been in this dealership for a week as of now, I haven’t got one call about what service needs to be done and I don’t even want to bring the car back if problems with a car comes down to this everytime. I could have atleast gotten some type of car replacement until the time being or just any type of courtesy. No needs have been met. However I do and will accept the service because I do need a car but I will not recommend this location due to the lack of communication and me having to worry if my car is in the dealerships hands or someone who towed my car.
Update: My car is away from that location, service was done. I’ve gotten my car back. Fully charged of $200+ for a diagnostic that wasn’t needed because I told them I recently got one from Firestone and had to pay the same amount. This experience was the worst and I wasn’t accommodated at all! It’s like they know we have to come to them for service so they treat (well treated me) people like they don’t matter right along with their car. I’m utterly disgusted with this location and the next time I have to go to the dealership I don’t mind traveling hours to get service at the other location in Arkansas!
