I was told my spark plugs needed replacement. I was quoted 900.00 dollars over the phone. I only have one car and I know nothing about cars. I went ahead and authorized the work. The technician s I was quoted 900.00 dollars over the phone. I only have one car and I know nothing about cars. I went ahead and authorized the work. The technician supposedly checked the coils and said they were fine. Two days later the check engine light went on again so I took my Jeep back to find out the dealership had been bought out so it was chaos. They checked the car again and basically washed their hands of knowing what to do. The recommendation is to take my car to a Jeep dealer. My son is an A & P and cannot believe the cost of labor that was charged and cannot believe the technician could not figure out that the coil on cylinder 6 is what needs replaced. He cannot believe that this dealer is suggesting to take the car in to a Jeep dealer for another diagnostic. Also this place was terrible in contacting me about my car. I absolutely would never take my car or would never suggest a friend or anyone take their car to this dealer. $776.95 dollars later and I still have a check engine light on and told to go elsewhere after this dealer did work that did not fix the issue it was taken in for. I just love being xxxxx! From the advice of the tech I took my Jeep in to find out if there is another problem. I took it to a very honest, responsible place with great reviews. I was informed that the spark plugs were never replaced. He pulled a spark plug which has a dark ring around it. I was told that does not happen in a 5 day spark plug. The manifold which was to be removed in order to replace all spark slugs had dust all over it and looked like it had not been touched. I have a picture of the spark plug that the second mechanic pulled that shows the darker ring around it. I put a call in today at approximately 3:00pm for the service manager at Pike Peak Acura Colorado Springs to call me. This just make me ill that I have to go through this at all. Nobody should have to deal with this crap. Ever! More
Very unprofessional dealership, if you can picture typical used car dealer they hold the worst standard possible. Had issues the first month of ownership with one of their vehicles and was told they h typical used car dealer they hold the worst standard possible. Had issues the first month of ownership with one of their vehicles and was told they have no liability after you leave. Will never do business with them again and if there staff stays the same I'd consider going elsewhere for your next purchase. More

I had to come back after they received parts and waited for nearly 4 hours while they tell me they replaced the struts and didn't take care of the noise. They inspected the front end and found nothing wrong with ball joints or anything else. They printed an invoice showing they had replaced the struts. The noise continued. I finally took it to my mechanic and he had to replace the struts, sway bar bushings and rack and pinion bushing. This took care of the problem. These mechanics at Pikes Peak Acura are scammers and frauds. i wouldn't trust them to change my oil or add windshield washing fluid. I would never go to them for service! More
Disappointing experience with a lack of attention to detail by listing vehicles for sale that are not in working order and not able to be sold on the same day due to possible liability on the dealership detail by listing vehicles for sale that are not in working order and not able to be sold on the same day due to possible liability on the dealership. — Drove down from Denver to look at a used vehicle listed on the website ready to purchase that day. After coming to an agreement, it was noted the vehicle would not be ready today because of a seatbelt that was broken. The problem was they wanted me to sign for purchase before getting a clear game plan for repairs yet not willing to let me put a deposit down until they could repair the issue. Not having a clear answer as to when the vehicle would be ready for delivery was a disappointment. The bigger disappointment was the sales manager response to me that “another couple is right behind you ready to look at the vehicle”, which I found even more disappointing customer service. They want my commitment to a purchase but can't commit to a delivery time and using the "it will be gone" tack was not helping…. I walked, and they sold to the next person, which I’m glad someone got the commission and hope it was the sales rep that tried to help me. All the best to the person that purchased, hope your vehicle delivers quickly after repairs. — Just do your homework before you head to the dealership because the willingness to “sell” a vehicle that the sales manager told me was “a liability to drive off the lot that day “made me quickly rethink my purchase at Pikes Peak Acura Used Cars. My last car was a goner and I needed something quick at a time when car prices are just crazy. I was so worried. But I’ve use Mike Prebble before and he’s always found something to fit my needs and budget. H time when car prices are just crazy. I was so worried. But I’ve use Mike Prebble before and he’s always found something to fit my needs and budget. He never disappoints, and he got me a car that exceeded my expectations at a payment that was manageable for me! I actually checked the price of the exact model and package for my car (on a few sites) and their price was actually a little over $1k less than the average most folks paid. So I got a good deal when I expected the worst. John Johnson was the sales manager who helped me and he understood I just needed to get a new car and on the road and didn’t make it a hassle trying to get a good price and out the door. Mike and John were the best! More
Terrible service department...Their cost for a service I was inquiring about was nearly 2x more than what the local Honda dealer charges. I pointed this out to the service rep, and before I could get anoth was inquiring about was nearly 2x more than what the local Honda dealer charges. I pointed this out to the service rep, and before I could get another word in, he interrupted and said, "Yeah, we don't match anyone's prices, sounds like a great deal, you should just go there!" After a puzzled pause, I said, "ok, guess I will!" When your reviews already suck, maybe you should provide some service that doesn't make those reviews worse? Apparently not... More
I would never buy another vehicle from these clowns again! It's a shame that the Acura name has to suffer due to Pikes Peak Acura. Dishonest, will say anything to get you to buy from them. Had engine i again! It's a shame that the Acura name has to suffer due to Pikes Peak Acura. Dishonest, will say anything to get you to buy from them. Had engine issues, alignment issues 3 days after buying from them. They say, "we take pride in reconditioning pre-owned vehicles." What a complete joke! I would be embarrassed if I owned this dealership. More
AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. My wife and I visited this dealership to attempt to purchase an MDX. We had already secured financing and told each individual that we spoke to, multiple times, that we DID NOT dealership to attempt to purchase an MDX. We had already secured financing and told each individual that we spoke to, multiple times, that we DID NOT want financing through them. A Bottom line price was agreed upon, with the number written down. We shook hands and I left my wife at the dealership to finish up paperwork. There were multiple attempts to get her to sign paperwork to apply for financing, after we made it crystal clear that we had no interest in financing through them. We also declined any additional warranties (Several times). We left the dealership and waited for our bank to send us the contract. Once we received it, the contract was for 2500 more than we agreed to. We almost didn’t notice until we read the breakdown of the financing. Somehow the dealership added approximately 2500 to the price we agreed upon. After making sure these fees were not associated with our lender, we asked the dealership how the 2500 got added on? We had multiple explanations, one about how they thought there was supposed to be an extended warranty, another few that were pretty lame and then lots of backtracking. We then find out that the dealership emailed our lender, saying that they should explain that there was no warranty added and how they mended the error and whatever else. Kinda seems as though they were trying to cover their tracks. Our lender said it seemed as though they were trying to add the interest rate that we had into the loan somehow. Either way, it’s hard to believe that the dealership just accidentally added the 2500. There’s got to be some sort of quality control in place. Could you imagine if we accidentally shorted the dealership 2500? It would never happen. Either way, this dealership seemed very dishonest in their practices and/or maybe just incompetent. Maybe both? It’s unfortunate that it’s so hard to find a decent dealership. I’ve had one encounter in my entire life that didn’t feel dirty afterwards. If you can, avoid Pikes Peak Acura. There’s better places to purchase. More
