That’s NOT TRUE!! You all have NOT returned my calls or helped me settle this issue. BRAKES AND ROTORS ARE NOT COVERED UNDER ANY WARRANTY WITH ACURA!! I have not heard from anyone at PHIL SMITH ACURA SINCE 10/15/2022! You all sold me a car with issues that was in FACT ACURA CERTIFIED!! Why did I have issues with the car making a squealing sound a week after purchase ? I sent the video as well to you all with the sound so please don’t get on the Internet and respond like you all have RESOLVED THIS ISSUE! You left me hanging because I was over 400 miles away and you thought that you all could take advantage of me and ignore my calls , text , and voicemails. Acura relations put in a report with you all the week of 10/17 and I was told I would get a call from PHIL SMITH ACURA and no one ever called !! You all did NOT fulfill your duties as a car dealership. I’ve never had an experience like this EVER with purchasing a car. Since you all can reply on here when are you all going to call me back about the breaks and rotors situation that’s still happening?

While I understand your frustration regarding the sunroof on your 2021 Acura TLX, unfortunately Acura North America (“Acura NA”) is not authorizing us to perform the repair under the factory warranty, as it has determined that the root cause of the concern is not from a factory defect but an outside source and therefore not covered by the warranty. In your specific case they required us to provide them with pictures and prior repair order history in making the determination. We provided those repair orders reflecting that you brought the vehicle in on 9/30/21 and 1/15/22 for routine service but did not identify any concerns with the sunroof. I did speak with our Acura NA representative to ask for a reconsideration of your request, but the request was denied again. As an Acura dealer we are authorized to perform warranty work on a customer’s vehicle, but we must follow the necessary protocol set forth by Acura NA and get the proper approvals before performing the work. In such situations, the recourse is typically to file a damage claim with your insurance company and have them approve and pay for the repairs. We are willing to assist if you would like to proceed with that course of action.
