BEWARE. ITS A SCAM DEALERSHIP. At 1pm I called for a new RDX that was featured on their website. Spoke to Ajala, sales rep, and she told me it's available an ITS A SCAM DEALERSHIP. At 1pm I called for a new RDX that was featured on their website. Spoke to Ajala, sales rep, and she told me it's available and to come down. It was for my 75 year old uncle. My uncle and aunt drove an hour to the dealership. Ajala didn't come to meet them. Another sales rep came and said the car is not available as there is a deposit on it from morning and they should buy the one which was $12k more. If the car had a deposit on it since morning, why would Ajala ask them to stop by at 1pm. Spoke to the manager, Rich, and he was of no help, he rather justified the scam. PLEASE BEWARE. THIS DEALERSHIP IS JUST IN PRACTICE OF SCAMMING BUYERS PROMISING THEM THE CAR AND WHEN THEY COME TO THE DEALERSHIP, THEY SWITCH AND BAIT THE BUYERS WITH A HIGHER PRICE CAR. More
Alicia was great in setting up my service visit & keeping me informed, introduced me to Chris the Service Tech. He diagnosed the issue, corrected it & they had me in & out in less than 1.5 hours. me informed, introduced me to Chris the Service Tech. My sales consultant, Lou Cerillo and his team, including Tito in the business office, could not have been more cordial n professional! One could quickly see and value Lou’s long history in the business, as Tito in the business office, could not have been more cordial n professional! One could quickly see and value Lou’s long history in the business, as he held my hand through every phase of the purchase, financing and closing of the deal. We had an issue with an employee in the service department trying to sell services that were not needed just because I’m a woman. My husband ended up calling service department manager George, what department trying to sell services that were not needed just because I’m a woman. My husband ended up calling service department manager George, what a pleasure to deal with. Not only did he listen to what the issue was he took care of it. Will definitely go back as we have for the past 6 years just because of George. More
I expected a professional level of service for my vehicle. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. Save yourself the trouble and take your car to a mechanic that will care enough to properly inspect vehicle. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I worked with Dominick C and it was an excellent experience. Dominick went above and beyond what I would expect from a salesperson to get our deal done. His transparency, openness, and access to records is something I have not seen at other dealerships. When I had a question regarding the car and parts, he quickly had his service department put it on the lift and walk me through the master technicians review. I'm terms of price, although we were initially far apart, he did his best to come to a mutually agreeable number. I was even given a list of vehicles within 100 miles as a comparison so that I knew I was getting a great price. Communication was perfect and extremely quick. Acura of new Brunswick is definitely a dealer that I would recommend for anyone looking for transparent pricing and excellent service. More
From the sales consultant, all the way to corporate management, this dealership is as deceptive and unethical as they come. The President of Open Road group, Michael Morais , and I had a verbal agreeme management, this dealership is as deceptive and unethical as they come. The President of Open Road group, Michael Morais , and I had a verbal agreement that Open Road Acura would buy back my vehicle because of the oil leak and engine knocking that was present. This was a CPO that they sold to me. After multiple attempts to contact Michael, he abruptly stopped responding to my calls, texts and emails. His websites give the portrayal that he is a caring, integral businessman, which is not the case. Open Road Acura and Open Road Group proved to have all of the characteristics of dishonest communication and unethical business practices. I would not wish my worst enemy to do business with this company. This process was a nightmare. I did my best to remain professional and understanding, but once I had learned that I was stuck paying thousands of dollars after purchasing the vehicle, with an extended vehicle services contract, it became an unpleasant exchange. It is because of businesses such as Open Road where customers get that uneasy feeling that we are being taken advantage of, and they take full advantage. This experience has taught me the importance of doing thorough research when in the market for a vehicle purchase. I have highly educated myself with the process and it is all thanks to Open Road Auto Group. More
