I went into zimbrick bmw on Oct 19th and it was an overall decent experience but the interactions felt forced and the diagnostic alone ran me just short of 500 bucks. I was told my blower needed replacing and I requested the replacement of a back taillight as well. I was able to set up an appointment for the repairs for Nov 07 (A bit far if you ask me) and was looking forward to the scheduled repairs. The morning of Nov 07 I dropped off my GT and was told the repair of my blower and a tail light should be completed by end of day (6pm). Later that day I receive a phone call from a stacy explaining how several bolts that are needed for my blower were actually not readily available to the mechanics and an order would have to be placed for said bolts. Postponing the repair until the following day (Nov 8). Extremely unprofessional and unorganized to not have all components for any repair let alone a repair that's been scheduled almost a full month in advance but I digress. So now the repair would be expected to be completed by end of day...again. Nov 8th comes and no communication between zimbrick and I has been initiated until nearly a few hours before they close. Stacy calls again and I was told that there was good news and bad news. I wanted the bad news first and was informed that my vehicles automatically closing trunk, had been shut so aggressively (had to be done manually) by an employee that the back window had "exploded". I was and still am highly upset, disappointed, and confused how such a company would hire mechanics, so negligent and unknowledgeable that a mistake like this could occur. Infuriatingly, the good news was that I did not have to pay for the replacement of my window, so gracious of them. I was told a new window would not be here in Madison until the following Friday so now my simple repair and replacement of a blower and back taillight like which was estimated to be completed within 12 hours is now extended into a week. This entire experience has been inconvenient to say the least. I would NEVER suggest this location ever to anyone. Much safer to get a diagnostic here but absolutely no repairs. More
I took my car in for brake fluid service. The service consultant was nice and good to work with. The work was completed within the scheduled alloted time. However I was disappointed with the sales floor people. I was 1 of 3 customers in the entire sales floor. There were 4 or 5 sales people in the building. 3 out of those are definitely the regular sales persons, not managers. No one has said anything or even looked at me, once. I was looking at cars, getting into some of them. I tried to get into the IX but the door was locked. One guy saw me then pretending not seeing me when I was looking for someone help me get into the vehicle. Again I was in the dealership for 1.5 hours, no one else besides the service consultant said anything to me. Guess I won't be replacing my X5 with another BMW. More
I am late in writing this, but bad experiences stick with me so it is still pretty fresh in my head. I began vehicle shopping in spring of this year as my lease was up in the summer. A used Audi on Zimbric me so it is still pretty fresh in my head. I began vehicle shopping in spring of this year as my lease was up in the summer. A used Audi on Zimbrick BMW's lot had popped up in my search a number of times and eventually I emailed the dealer, made an appointment with a used salesperson via the internet manager, and was set to come in on a Monday morning. The internet person had verified my appointment early Monday. When I arrived at the store the Q7 was in front getting ready to be driven to auction. I walked into the dealership and the salesperson I was scheduled to see was at his desk. I introduced myself and he didn't know who I was or what I was there to see. I had a verified appointment. He states that the vehicle is headed to auction. WHAT? You have an APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED with a potential BUYER and the vehicle is off to auction? The manager came out and told me that unless I was prepared to buy it right then they would make more money at auction. I was so shocked I didn't really have a response other than asking if I could at least sit in it. After an audible sigh from the sales person, I was "allowed" to sit in it. The sales person actually said that the porters were on the clock and that if I wasn't interested they should be able to go. We return inside and the sales person is basically brushing me off at this point. He had me write down my contact information on a piece of scrap paper. I had to ASK for his card. I told him other cars I was looking at - he had me write them down (I can't believe I actually did, I should have left). I was a serious buyer with a very short, specific list. He didn't even know the difference between 2 different BMWs (X3 m40i and X5 m40i) or that he had an X3 m40i on the lot that I noticed as I was leaving - another missed opportunity for him. I left. ZERO follow up. He had all of my contact information, specifics about cars I was considering, budget, and timeframe. Nothing. I emailed the internet contact when I got home and relayed my experience. No response. nothing. Not an apology. Nothing. We have purchased a new BMW from Zimbrick and 6 other cars from Zimbrick stores. My son just purchased a used Infiniti from Tom at Infiniti and he was wonderful to work with and what I expected from Zimbrick, especially BMW. This was the worst car shopping experience I have ever had over the course of 25+ yrs (recently had another that almost tops it, but not quite). I have basic expectations. Be polite and respectful, communicate, and don't be arrogant. Treat me like a customer? BMW Used could not even keep a scheduled appointment. As a woman, I have experienced the arrogant salesman attitude in the past, but it is 2022 and we are in Madison. Do better. The beauty of the internet is that this experience is made available for all potential buyers to see and we have the opportunity to see other cars for sale easily and from everywhere. I wound up buying a used Land Rover from Fields. It was the BEST car buying experience I have ever had, which just makes Zimbrick look even worse. (Yes, I write positive reviews, too!). A month later and my salesmen has checked in to make sure I still love my truck, which I do. I have given his name out to EVERYONE. More

I want to give a shout out to Sean Weckerly (and to Tim Prost, though he as now moved on to a job in new career) as I work through the purchase of a BMW 530e this year. Tim was very helpful as we put toge Prost, though he as now moved on to a job in new career) as I work through the purchase of a BMW 530e this year. Tim was very helpful as we put together a factory order for the brand new model year - before it was even up on the website. He freely provided all the information we needed, answered questions and was quite responsive. They even allowed us to take a test drive in a manager's 5 Series private vehicle, as there simply are not any 2022/2023 530e cars around to take out for a spin. Once Tim left, Sean, the sales manager has taken over seamlessly as we try to work out a way to obtain the PHEV tax credit "under the wire" before the new EV tax credit rules take effect. At every step of the way they have been very responsive in communication, helpful, and patient in every way that they can be. And the pricing, at MSRP, is fair under the current market conditions, in August 2022. (Note: This dealership's address has changed. They are no longer on Rimrock Road). More
Easiest transaction I have ever experienced buying a car! Even with a super busy end of the month Saturday, they told me to show as early as possible, 8:30am, and they had me out in my A6 by 9am Thanks folk Even with a super busy end of the month Saturday, they told me to show as early as possible, 8:30am, and they had me out in my A6 by 9am Thanks folks!
