I had my Maserati towed in for service, then went there the next day to make sure the tow went okay. When I got there someone from the back office came out looked at me up and down then told the service advisor to charge me a 5 hour diagnostic fee for a total of $1,250… and oh, I had to pay for that IN ADVANCE before they even take a look at my car!!! Although they eventually refunded me the money, ONLY BECAUSE OF MY NEGATIVE REVIEW, the damage was already done. This has never, ever happened to me before! I have a McLaren as well as a Ferrari that I have been servicing for years at other dealerships, but never once was I asked to pay IN ADVANCE for anything! So I called the other dealerships that service my other high end cars who knew me well to ask them if that was normal… their response was “No, absolutely not! The Maserati dealership service dept probably took a good look at you and how you dressed, then decided you may not be able to pay the bill”. I’m upset and appalled at how I was treated. This is flat out discrimination because I dress very simply and, oh yah, I’m not white. I lost both of my sons while they served in the Marine Corps, but never once have I asked for special treatment from anyone because of that! I do, however demand respect, which Hi Teck Motorcars decided not to extend me! SHAME ON YOU “HI TECH MOTORCARS”. SHAME ON YOU!!! More
Worthless service department for Pre Purchase Inspection. Go elsewhere. Was charged for 3 hours of work to do a PPI which took under 2. Whoever did the work missed so many obvious things. I do not believe they ever drove the car or they would have noticed many things. Then I got an estimate of about $26,000 for repairs for a 17 yr old car that is not worth that much. And to boot, they gave no explanation why these things needs to be addressed. Just an estimate to replace them. I honestly think that they had no interest in the car as it was not a $100,000+ new one. Only good thing was that it gave me quite a bargaining tool with the seller. But still. I would not return to these guys for anything. More
Who leaves a complaint for a brand new car dealership?? This dealership deserves 6 stars. They are the best in town by far, probably best in Texas. Since he refuses to respond to me, I'm leaving a review. This was my email to him. Apollo, I've been with Maserati for approximately 5 years. My first Maserati purchase was a great experience. I worked with Angelina and she helped me lease a 2015 Maserati Ghibli. Again, aside from some unexpected tire costs, a great experience :) In December of 2017, almost to the day, I was approached by Alias Nawas. He wanted to get me into a new Ghibli. I told him, if you can keep my monthly payment the same or better, I'm all ears. Not too long after that conversation, he had a deal for me on a new 2018 Ghibli. After looking over the deal, I pointed out to him that I needed more than 12000 miles a year. I'm in the real estate biz, so driving is a requisite AND what's the use of having a Maserati if you're not going to drive it! :) He assured me that those mileage numbers didn't matter and I could drive as many or as few miles as I wanted. I questioned him about it and he said it's the way my lease was structured. He threw out some car biz lingo and it sounded legit. As it turns out and I found out yesterday, this was all a lie. My assumption now is he needed another sale before the end of the year for a bonus and knew I wouldn't budge on price considering I still have another year on my lease. On the phone yesterday Alisa denied he the conversation we had 2 years ago, which means I'm the liar, right? Even today, Alias had to come up to me and tell me a sob story about how much he's losing on this car and all the efforts he went through to get it done. Wanna bet there's another bonus waiting for him? Don't take the bet, I know there is. As of yesterday, I was very close to my max number of miles with a year and a half to go on my lease. If I were to keep the car any longer it would cost me approx $7000 in overage miles. If I turn the car in early, it would cost me $16,650. Begrudgingly, I had to roll over into a new 2019 Maserati Ghibli today. Alias lied to me to get me in a new car, so he can make a bonus. Now, I'm stuck with y'all for another 3 1/2 years. More
