I was in town this week to help my wonderful aunt and uncle find a quality pre-owned vehicle. They are Chevy-loyal customers and I work with Ford Motor company so we wanted to support American manufacturing. After doing research, we selected Ed Martin Chevrolet based on reviews and ratings. We had an outstanding experience, even with my high expectations working on behalf of Ford in Florida. This dealership has a wonderful sales and finance team, and puts the *customer first.* Their care and concern for my aunt and uncle, who are new residents to the area, was impressive. Brian McKinney was an excellent ambassador of the Chevrolet brand and of the dealership. He was thorough, answered his phone on a Sunday, and worked hard to ensure we had an enjoyable and beneficial transaction. They love their Chevrolet Equinox and, on our way to the celebration dinner tonight, we all enjoyed our turn driving. I am so proud of this company and this dealership. I highly recommend this dealership as they do business the right way. Thank you so much for your outstanding sales and service departments who work hard every day.

My sister was looking for a specific Traverse and we couldn't find one anywhere. She had almost the whole family looking for it. Finally we contacted Sam Pierce about a vehicle and was told it is in transit but we could come in and work out the deal before it arrived or they would call us when it was officially on the lot. Fast forward 3 weeks and we received a call from Rocky about the vehicle being delivered and we made the long 2.5hr trip to the dealership and officially purchased. I read a few up and down reviews about this dealership but I can only speak to our experience. They were extremely communicative before our visit and kept us up to date, then when we arrived we were greeted by Rocky and made to feel like they truly wanted to earn our business. The sales rep Brian really pushed to help us get the best deal possible. If I could give 10 stars I would. They don't make dealerships like this one anymore!

Went to look at used cars. Found one I thought and the next day went to pick it up. Got home with it and there were all kinds of problems. I had so much trouble. They promised a full tank of gas and I had to beg for that. I'm a disabled vet who was looking for a reliable used car. I thought this was the place but, I wouldn't recommend them to any service member or retired service member. Save your money. Don't be like me and lose it. Never again.

I can't say enough good things about this dealership. I flew from Denver to pick up my 2017 GMC Acadia. Matt was very helpful throughout the buying process. Even when Matt came down with illness, Shawna was there to pinch hit for him. I dealt with Trace in finance as well, only to find out he was pinch hitting for the finance manager. He also told me he was the one who found my car for me from GM.

My experience was great! Robert took great care in making sure I got what I was looking for. Day of delivery he made sure I was introduced to all the features of my new Trax. It had been 17 years since I got a new vehicle so I had a lot to learn! Linda in finance was also wonderful. She knew about me and anticipated my needs. Overall my experience has been fabulous. Although there were a few “hiccups” along the way, he stuck with us got us the answers we needed very quickly. We were on a time constraint and he was very sensitive to that. Their General Manager was the absolute best. I live in Michigan and even though he didn't have the vehicle I was looking for he spent time on the phone with me looking through inventory to see if he could find me one. It ultimately lead to me finding a dealership near me that had one on order that wasn't already claimed. If their sales staff is half as good as their manager I would highly recommend this dealership. I will be making the trip to them for future vehicles.

I agree with all negative reviews here.This dealership sent me a letter stating that I won a prize and I dont have to buy any car from them in order to claim my prize. After driving 2 hours to this dealership and manager told me that they ran out of prizes and waiting for Fedex to deliver the prize. I looked at few cars and asked them about price. They lied about prices. None of their prices matched prices their website. Most of their cars are marked way more than KBB value. Manager was very rude on phone.Glad i didnt buy anything from these people.Rip off. Buyers beware.

Hello, all! If you're reading these reviews, I bet you're probably in the market for a new vehicle. Well, I'm not here to tell you if Gates is the place for your new purchase, but I am quite prepared to say you should never try to get a vehicle serviced at this dealership! I came to Gate and attempted to have my low-mileage, under-warranty vehicle diagnosed for a knocking sound. After a 2.5 hour wait (was told 1 hour, and watched another customer enter, get service, a loaner, and leave before me) a serviceman approached me and outright refused to diagnose the issue, stating their refusal was due to 'snow on the ground', and that I should come back when it's nicer outside. Seriously! As soon as I left their service center and hit the road at 20mph, the knocking was CLEARLY audible! After calling the service center to set a date and time *they* find appropriate, and not being given one, I requested to speak to the floor manager. The gentleman I spoke to was very pleasant and helpful, but said he could not arrange a diagnostic until the following week, which I found unacceptable. I'm sure their salesman are quite genial and the deals superb, but I would suggest staying away from their service center: they seem selective about who they want to serve and who they do not.

Showed up looking to purchase a Corvette at Sibbitt Chevrolet. The one they had in stock was not a convertible, so we asked Tim Sibbitt if he could get one. We got a one word reply - "NO". He said the allocation was not there and simply walked away. Never attempted to call GM about getting one, never attempted to call another dealer for a trade, simply just said no. This was a $60,000 car!!! Wound up purchasing from another dealer. Years later showed up again looking to trade my S-10 for a new Colorado. Sticker price on the Colorado was $28,000, and the initial offer was $24,000 difference - the S-10 had 168,000 miles on it. I offered $20,000 and was told "Oh, no, no, no, we just can't do that." A few days later returned and offered $22,000. They came back at $23,000; I told them the offer was $22,000. Once again "Oh, no, no, no, we just can't do that." Next day went to the same dealer I bought the Corvette from and they beat Sibbitt's price by $3,000. Called Sibbitt back and told them I was walking away because I got a better deal. Then their story changed to "OK, we'll trade for $20,000." After they turned down $22,000 24 hours earlier. They tried to give me some story about how they just got a new rebate in that morning. It was a Friday & the last day of the month - I am not that stupid! Since then I have NEVER been back, and will never go back. I would stay far away from this dealer.
