When I went to pick up my vehicle, the wipers were broken, the brakes were squealing and the tires were corroded, how it passed the state inspection is beyond me. I mentioned it to the service department and they would not replace my tires or brakes. They did replace the wiper blades. I called the gm of diamond and I sent him photos of my tires to show him how bad they were. He contacted service and found out that the last time my vehicle went in the shop for service was January. So he told me that he would replaced my tires, so I went back and got them replaced. After that I went back to service multiple times about my brakes and brake light. I even sent pictures to the manager of the light and still nothing was done, no communication nothing. They kept saying that brakes squeal just give them time to break in, that there is nothing wrong with them. I went to another dealership to get the vehicle checked out and they fixed my brake light issue right away. I dropped off my car to diamond to get my brakes done this weekend as they have been squealing for over a year now. I explained to Dominic that all I wanted was my brakes replaced and that my brake pads were covered under my third party warranty. I didnt ask them to pay for the brakes or anything I just wanted them replaced. He argued with me over the phone that warranty’s did not cover pads. He ended up doing a diagnostic on my brakes and did not replace the brakes as I requested. Dominic left a vm 3 hours later from our last conversation stating that there is nothing wrong with my brakes, but if I wanted then replaced it was going to cost me around $1048.00 and that my warranty company was closed. So if I wanted my car I would have to pay the entire bill. Again I just wanted them to replaced my brakes. I called back and asked to speak to the service manager. Brandon came on the phone and I tried to explained that I want my brakes replaced thats it and that my pads were covered under warranty. He told me that there is nothing wrong with my brakes they are just squealing. Then went back and forth about my warranty and that it won’t cover the pads. He stated he has been there since 2011 and no warranty company pays for brake pads. Then after going back and forth about my brakes and warranty he then accused me of bad language to his service writer, which I didn’t. I told him my client heard everything as she was standing right next to me and could verify that I was not speaking inappropriately if he would like to talk to her. He told me no that he will pull the phone records as everything is recorded. Then told me that he would not be working on my car he was going to put it outside and to come get the car. I decided to call the warranty company and they told me that diamond never called them and that they were open. So I called diamond back and left a voice message for the gm to call me, but he never called me back. I decided to give them 1 more chance and Juan my sales guy said I have a few vehicles I'll send pictures. Said he was going to talk to finance said it was too much. Then fell off the ends of the earth, no communication nothing. I couldn't buy because of the cost of the vehicle so he didnt waste his time with me. Called today December 1st because my car was refinanced and I was looking for my GAP refund to findout there was no GAP on my car this whole time. They don’t care about my business and don’t respect anybody. No wonder they go through so many people. They were very rude and unprofessional. Don't trust this company they will say what he want to hear then back out

I was really surprised at the excellent attention that was demonstrated by Rob Wayburn & Andrew. I wanted a preowned car within a certain price range. My first experience was with Robert several months prior, unfortunately I was unable to find anything at the dealership. Robert took my information and promised to notify me if anything comes in. At this point I was use to this being the last time I'll ever hear from a sales person. Pre-owned cars are a hit or miss issue as it is. To my great surprise, Robert called several months later with a potential car that will meet what I was looking for. SEVERAL MONTHS ! Rob, was attentive and kind, I actually ended up purchasing not the car Rob called about ( it did meet my needs ), but, a slightly more expensive car. I couldn't be more please with my experience as well as the car. I was treated very fairly & respectively. I has some minor issues that I wanted repaired or replaced. I went to Rob, he walked me to the service department & introduced me to Rich in the service department to make sure I knew who to go to. Rich was also friendly & very patient as I tried to explain my issues. Not a problem well take care of it. Even though this is not a GM product, I will continue to have my car serviced at this dealership. I just can't tell you how great my experience has been with Cape GM, Rob should be commended for his outstanding customer service skills, thus , making this dealership stand out more than others I have experience.

My family and I were driving from VA to a wedding in MA, in our 2017 GMC Yukon Denali, when we began experiencing problems with the brake system. We called Swanson Buick GMC from the road and spoke to Ken in the service department. Although they were fully booked and were heading into a holiday weekend, Ken agreed to take a look at our car. We dropped it off that evening and the car was fixed by late afternoon the next day. Ken and the entire service department were amazing. We cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond and keeping our family safe on our road trip. Thank you so much!

I've worked with salespeople at a variety of dealerships. I've bought Lexus, BMW, Honda, more. Chris Adams is by far the most professional salesperson I've run into so far. He helped me close out on a 2017 Terrain Denali. I actually never even knew much about GMC except that they make trucks. Happened to be driving by on the way to a Jeep dealership to shop for the Grand Cherokee Limited, and thought I might as well do my due diligence and check out GMC since they had some good looking SUV's outside. Chris Adams happened to be the salesperson at the door, and I told him I was just exploring. He was the opposite of the hard sell, and more like a high-end concierge at a 5-star hotel. I work in Cambridge, and have done most of my car buying in Boston and Watertown, so it was completely random stopping up here in Lowell. So glad I did! Chris Adams basically asked me what I was interested in, asked interesting questions to try to figure out my goals, and only showed me cars that I might be interested in. When test driving, he also let me drive wherever I wanted with absolutely zero pressure to hurry back to the dealership. It really let me relax and try the car out. Then when we got back, he asked a few more questions to figure out how I felt--no pressure at all, he really was genuine in trying to understand my goals. I left the dealership thinking I'd end up in a Grand Cherokee, but after trying the Cherokee out and feeling the quality and comfort was a level below that of the Terrain, I waited a couple days before contacting Chris again. Not a single phone call from the dealer, which is what I'd requested, since I find phone calls and voicemails tiresome. We started the process over email, and Chris was super responsive and detailed. A 10 out of 10 experience, I would get another GMC when it's time to get another car if Chris is still around just to deal with him.

I bought a Buick Rendezvous from Long. On the whole, the price was fine. The Finance guy was a real xxx. I nearly walked out. He was pissed that I got an Warranty Direct extend warranty. The service bay is clean. To the point that I am not sure anyone works there. The service people are not all that sharp. For almost a year there was an issue with the speed sensor. They replaced everything but the speed sensor. Finally, they planned to tear apart the transmisson. I got in a fight with the service manager. They finally check the speed sensor. They wiring harness on the sensor had cracked apart. I just went to them for body work. They sent me to Brigham and Gill. They wanted $1700. They actual repair was done at Muzi for $700. Long is no better or worse then the rest. The service people are not that sharp. I would buy another car from them but service it elsewhere.
