Worked with a few people at Hendrick Chevy and it was a great experience! Dave Reed got us all setup with our new Traverse. Jake Vaupell has been so sweet and reached out weeks later to make sure we are still happy and all is well. Jake in finance was funny and made the paperwork piece incredibly quick and easy. Really appreciate their kindness during the buying process and continued follow up afterwards. Makes us feel like valued customers rather than just more money. Will definitely be back when we need another vehicle!

My wife and I were on a road trip a week before Thanksgiving. As we were leaving Sioux City Iowa on a frigid Friday morning, my Cadillac's warning system came on alerting me of an overheating engine. I was able to get it cooled down and back on my way to Topeka for the evening. While driving, we called ahead to Cable Dahmer to see if there was any chance of getting it looked at on Saturday. For one, we just googled Topeka Cadillac dealerships and picked Cable Dahmer out of the blue. Secondly, being as it was the weekend before Thanksgiving I had little hope of getting in to a service department without a previously made appointment. They said sure, bring it in tomorrow at 845am. Upon arriving Saturday morning we were greeted by service rep Gary Harrison. I don't think I've ever met any service rep more friendly, helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, kind, concerned and just all around great. Our problem was diagnosed and fixed, along with an oil change, in just a couple of hours. Gary even gave us the VIP discount on the repair bill as he knew we were traveling and encountered this unexpected repair. I'm a regular Cadillac customer back in Colorado. You would have thought this was my home dealership taking care of my car. I was SO impressed with the service dept! They were amazingly clean, proficient, expeditious and friendly. They truly made me wish I lived in Topeka and had my car serviced there regularly. This was definitely a 6 Star experience!

Brought in my 2013 Volt on a Thursday morning for a electrical systems diagnosis. They said it would only be a couple days. I did not ask ahead of time for a price estimate (this was my mistake, I should have) because other Chevy shops do it for about 90 bucks so I just assumed it would be similar (again, my mistake). Didn't hear back from them until the next Wesneday when I messaged them. Rep said that the total would be 330. He said it would be 165 for a firmware update, which I didn't ask for, and presumably the other 165 for the actual diagnosis. I messaged further asking why they did not consult me before doing the firmware update. No response. I called the next day (Thursday) and asked the same question, why wasn't I consulted for next steps. I told him I could have just done the firmware update myself if that was the fix for my problem. He snorted and said that I couldn't have done it myself. (I could have, it's not hard.) The story changed from 165 for diagnosis and 165 for the update, to 165 for an engine diagnosis and 165 for an electrical systems diagnosis, and that they did the firmware update for free. How kind. Not having anything to solidly argue against I resigned myself to paying 330. I get to the dealership and the receipt says 392 after tax. I apparently also got charged 30 dollars for a "hazardous material" fee. For a diagnosis and a firmware update. They got my money but they won't get it again. Take the time to go to a different shop. Saving a few miles of a drive isn't worth hundreds of dollars.

Our vehicle was there for THREE weeks. We would call to ask about progress and several times we got an answer of 'we don't have any record of your vehicle being here.' Then we would get a call back later in the day to tell us that they were waiting on the mechanic or ordering a part. On Friday, September 29th we called to ask about the status of our vehicle. We again got the response that they had no record of our vehicle being in the shop. We were told Mike would have to call us back. We made plans to get a car dolly and tow our vehicle to another dealer because we had no confidence that our vehicle would ever be fixed. Then about 4:30 that afternoon Mike called back to tell us that our vehicle was fixed and ready to be picked up. We understand that the service department was very busy but there was not an excuse for 'having no record of our vehicle'. We are looking to purchase a new vehicle and we had considered looking at Beckman Motors, but that will no longer be a consideration.

We were at the beginning of a 3,000 mile trip, and the check engine light went on. The nearest dealer was Murdock Chevrolet, Cadillac, etc. in Manhattan, KS. It was a Saturday morning, and luckily the service department was open. They diagnosed the problem, but didn't have the needed part. They called several nearby dealerships, and after several calls, found one in nearby Abilene, KS, and we hurried to Abilene. We arrived in Abilene, the car was repaired, and we proceeded on our trip with no problems. Remember, this was a Saturday morning when most dealer service departments were only open on Saturday morning, and with a skeleton crew. We really appreciate the helpful service people at Murdock!

My wife and I thought it would have been easy when we purchased a 2022 1500 sierra SLT from Henry Martin. The purchase was, but we didn’t like the chrome wheels that came on the truck. They said not a problem, we can swap them out. Just bring it back in when you come back and we can do that. They found some 22’s that were great. But Shouldn’t have come down to this. Guess we shouldn’t have taken that truck home. Guessing because we paid cash and there just wasn’t any incentive for you all , we kinda got taken. We were told if we don’t like those wheels that you’d swap them out for something we’d like. It was late in the day on a Saturday so we believed it was going to happen cause they told us it could when we came back on the following Tuesday. Guess that teaches us not to be so trusting. Your talking 3000$ on a truck we paid over 64k for. Guessing you can think what kind of taste that puts in my mouth. Forget it. I’ll continue to keep looking. Should have known better.

Had a car totaled because of hail damage and needed to find another vehicle. I have never been to Jim Clark Chevy, so I thought I would go take a look. Danny met me at the front door and helped me right away to start looking. Drove 2 vehicle and ended up taking one home for the weekend so my wife could see and drive. Went back Monday afternoon and she wanted to try a couple more out. We ended up getting the one we tried first and Danny was great through it all ! Did all of the paperwork with Jarrod and Danny got the car ready for us to take home. It was a Great car buying experience and would definitely go back again.

My family as purchase at least 20 vehicles since 1977 and have always gotten a fair deal or better. All of us have used Clark Chevrolet for service and repairs. Their prices are almost always lower then other dealers or repair shops and they will not do any work or sell you anything your vehicle does not need.

My car is a Braun handicap accessible vehicle that I took for service at Jay Hatfield Mobility. My experience was horrible there! Had my car for 4 days, looked at it 1 day and stated “we don’t know what’s wrong with it, come get it”. Even though they did find a drain on the battery. Picked it up, brought it home and the next day battery was dead again. Syd was rude in the service dept and he was very unprofessional and absolutely no interest in fixing my issue! Since then it was towed to United Access were they are more than willing to keep It until it’s fixed!!
