It seems to take some time to get an appointment if you want to wait for your car. Which is what I have to do because of the distance I am from the dealership. I wanted my car inspected and was the second person in the dealership in the morning. It seems to take a long time to have things done when waiting. I always ask to have my car wash. But most of the time there is always some excuse. This time they said it was washed but you could not tell that because it still was dirty. I have had other dealerships wash your car anytime you brought it in without any issues. Stuff is usually friendly.

I touched base with Jared Homan around the first of September about trading in on a new ride (Jared and I have done business over the years, to include a few vehicles). We ran some #s and the available inventory didn't quite suit my needs, so we parted ways. On September 28th, about 2pm, I got a text from Jared about additional incentives and an improved inventory. I arrived at the dealership at 5:15 and was probably out the door by 7...signed, sealed and delivered. Jared was an absolute professional throughout the entire process. Not once did I feel pressured. Knows his products and keeps it simple. Hang on to Jared and I'll be back for more!

I contacted Bud Baer GMC in early June about a vehicle on their website which was not available. I was instead referred to one that was on order. Due to the difficulties of finding new vehicle inventory, I preliminarily worked out a deal on this vehicle that was ordered but not manufactured yet. To be sure that the vehicle was in my price range I was emailed a quote of the vehicle price and my trade in and calculated my payment. All checked out so I put a deposit down, to lock in the vehicle. After 2 months the vehicle arrived and I went to go pick it up and finalize the deal. This is where all the numbers changed from what I had in previous emails, they lowered my trade by $5,000, and it was not due to vehicle condition or miles. They said it was due to an error. They also increased the price of the new vehicle by ~$1,500 from what I was originally quoted. No reason given. The final issue was on the payment, which was much higher than what I was calculating. I am an accountant so I know about financing and leases and they could not tell me why their payment was so much different from what I was calculating. I knew it had to be the rate factor on the lease but they would not disclose what rate factor they were using. This was all without even running my credit, which I asked them to do to see if I could possibly get a lower rate factor. After a few discussions and getting nowhere, I told them that with all of this I could not move forward with the deal. This was very discouraging after waiting two months on the vehicle. Just a few minutes after this conversation I sent them a screen shot of my payment calculation and asked them to show me what was different between my calc and theirs and I was told the vehicle was already sold. I was told there were several people in line behind me for this vehicle. Which I think is the real reason they did not stand behind their original quote.

just nowNEW-Edit SERVICE DEPARTMENT - MUST READ - TERRIBLE and TRUE- Multiple times I have been there I have had issues with the service department causing a problem and then the service department denying any responsibility. The 1st time was them servicing my driver's seat that would slightly shift during turns. After they looked at it and did whatever, the collision warning system would constantly give me errors because they accidently pinched the wire to the seat buzz motor. I reported it and they continued to tell me it was a bad motor. Even after I pointed out the crimped and damaged wire from where under the seat. I saw where it was crimped and smashed. I stopped in and showed Ken, the asst service manager, and he said next time I bring it in, they will take care of it. So, I scheduled an oil change that I normally wouldn't do there, and then they wouldn't fix it. Ken told me that they would also rotate the tires as part of the service. I told him not to because I just got new tires a few months ago so it didn't need it. Well they did it anyway, and now the tire pressure monitoring system doesn't work. He told me the battery on one of them went bad. But all of them don't work. I told him not to touch it. But they did. They deny it is their fault and won't have any accountability. Another time, I brought the car there, and when I got it back, I had a dead battery from their parking lot. I had to jump it to get it home from the dealership. They told me I had a bad battery. I never had a problem with the battery before. I have worked with plenty of batteries I used to be a mechanic and have worked on numerous cars and know how they work. Funny how after they serviced it, it went bad. As if the mechanic left the accessories, or door open, or whatever. They wanted to charge me hundred to replace the battery. I did it myself. This service department is terrible and doesn't have any accountability. Either way. I strongly recommend not going here. They care about bottom line and not customer satisfaction. Never accept any responsibility. It's maddening. Deny, deny, deny. Here are the pictures - I never had these alerts before I went in there. Now I have to deal with these annoying alerts. Disgraceful.

I went to Patriot GMC in Boyertown because we had an interset sales deal. All ready to go and when i drove 1 1/2 hours to get there and they informed me the price increased by $10k over the deal made online. Now i am at Oneil. I had great service from the late Jamie at the Oneil Collision Center in hatboro on multiple occasions. I figured i would give this dealership a shot at my new truck. Right from the beginning i felt i was being well taking care of. I am working with Eric Wong and found him to be honest and forthright. I initially looked at a GMC Denalli, loved the truck, however towing capacity was much less than i required. He helped me look into exactly what i need, and we are in the process of building the right truck for me. So far, this dealership has been easy to work with and has made this exciting purchase fun. Kudos to Team Oneil!

Here's the deal... my wife and I have purchased or leased 5 vehicles from Providence, and we're considering our 6th. Why? They're honest, and they make it easy. They also work hard to get the numbers where we need them. Tom Van Eck, in particular, has always been helpful and accessible. He knows us, he knows what we want, and he knows how to get it. Oh, and the entire service department is top notch... fast, knowledgable, and attentive. I've owned nearly 30 cars in my lifetime, and I'll tell you this: if you're tired of games, come to Providence. It's worth the trip!
