We had a specific build in mind and every single feature, trim, and specification we ordered and was delivered on the vehicle. And sooner than anticipated. Clay spent a good deal of time ensuring we understood the complex computer/display features as well as all dials, buttons, and levers. Clay was personable, engaging, and respectful. This was our first purchase at Don Jacobs Honda. If the service department measures up to our sales experience, we'll make Don Jacobs our dealer of choice.

Stopped by on a Saturday looking to take a new Honda for a test drive. I was not interested in valuing my current vehicle for trade just yet. The sales manager told the salesman I wouldn’t be able to test drive since I was not “ready to buy”. Seems like they prefer impulsive customers. All of their new inventory that I saw was 10% over MSRP, yet other local dealers don’t have this “local market adjustment”. Drive 30 mins in any direction and find a better deal.

These guys really went the extra mile to make sure the used Honda Pilot I bought was in top shape before they sold it to me. They replaced the timing belt, water pump, windshield washer nozzle and turned the rotors to eliminate a shimmy that I couldn't detect when I test drove the vehicle. This vehicle runs like a new one with 171,000 miles on it. It was squeaky clean inside and out and for me a great vehicle at a reasonable price.

we've had our accord for two years, it has 41xxx miles on it. my wife has it seviced regularly. today was the first time i went with her. someone from service brought the air cleaner in and asked if we wanted it changed. the filter was in terrible shape so i asked my wife if it had ever been replaced but she didnt know. i went out in the service department and asked and they told me no. i also asked if it had been checked before and he told me it is checked at every service. i told him i didnt think that filter got that dirty since the last service his reply was "well i dont know what to tell you". according to the owners manual the air cleaner should be replaced every 15xxx miles. we take our car to honda to keep it in the best possible shape thinking honda service would take care of our needs. obviously, we have been making a mistake!! i guess i should check it over, wonder what else has been overlooked!!

I took my Honda Civic in for an oil change and tire rotation. The service manager suggest I have the 25K mile service. My car has a 36K mile bumper to bumper warranty. The bill was $385.00. I was shocked. The less than 2 year old Civic had it's transmission fluid changed, brake fluid changed, a radiator flush and refill, brake inspection etc. These items were above and beyond the recommended maintenance on the Honda website and manual. My complaint was Herb Pistole, service manager, not disclosing this would be so expensive and not covered by my warranty. The quality of work was ok but excessive maintenance done. I tried to contact the dealership owner Mr. Sim Fryson. He had his assistant call me after I address a complain letter to him personal and confidential. I asked why Mr. Fryson would not call me personally, I was told he is a busy man. A less than 2 year old car should not be causing me stress. It has been over a week and the dealer has made no effort to correct this situation. I called two other local dealers. The price for 25K maintenance should be $89 to $119. I did contact Honda, the Kentucky Atty. General but have not yet received any response.
