This service department is the worst experience I’ve ever - clk_1996
This service department is the worst experience I’ve ever had. Took my car in due to a noise in my A/C. I had to go through multiple phone calls and conversations to prove that I had purchased a warranty through them! I even brought in my paperwork and still was given resistance. Finally!! They acknowledge the warranty they sold me, yay! Nope, Gene states he can only email the warranty department and that it takes two weeks to hear back. This is not correct by the way, the warranty department has a claims number and when you call the longest I’ve had to hold is 5 min and yes, they give you a response the same day. However, after two weeks of waiting I finally get my car back. The tech tells me that my AC is supposed to make that loud squealing sound and in fact mine is not as loud as others he has heard. I get in my car to find that it is knocked completely out of alignment and my front end is damaged and….a bird is dead under my hood. My husband calls to speak to the service department manager and while my husband is on the phone the manager asks the tech if he hit something with my car. Of course, he says no, and we do not even get so much as an apology. I know I will never go back to this place again, however my car still needs fixed. I find out it’s the cooling fan when taking it to another mechanic and if I don’t fix it my car will eventually start overheating. I’m thinking okay, let’s get it fixed it’s covered under my warranty. Wrong again, apparently this shop had put in a claim and collected the money for a cooling fan while they had it so the only way I’m not out 900$ is to take it back to them. Of course I have to pay the 900$ as taking it to them puts my car at risk for more damage. So a worthless warranty, 100$ for an alignment I didn’t need until they knocked my car out of alignment, and 900$ for something I can’t use my warranty for due to a claim they made but did not repair. Do NOT take your vehicle to this shop.
